Project Description
IPMA (Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, Portugal) possesses a strong cluster of competences on resource and fisheries related research. IPMA acts as the national representative in tuna RFMOs (ICCAT, IOTC) relevant for this project. Dr. Rui Coelho (chair of the IOTC Working Party on Ecosystem and Bycatch and coordinator of ICCAT Atlantic SWO stocks) will be responsible of the tasks assigned to IPMA in this project. His role corresponds to staff category I.
