Content: Tuna handling in these vessels has not chanced since the last twenty years, that’s why we perceived a clear development necessity in the fish handling. Mainly to obtain high safety level and make good fish quality demands for an every year more exigent market. Handling habits used for these vessels were evaluated and them the action lines described. New developments and technologies set solutions that could improve ship working operations, safety and fish quality were proposed.
