This week, membes of GIFAMAN will attend the ICES Working Group for the Bay of Biscay and the Iberian Waters Ecoregion. They will present the most recent results on anglerfish misidentification and hybridization. These results will be an update of the work by Aguirre-Sarabia et al. 2021 including the analysis of >1800 white and black anglerfish samples. The results presented will have an impact on how we should assess and manage white and black anglerfish.
