I obtained my PhD from the University of Montreal (Canada) working on the phylogeny of microbial eukaryotes. After several postdoctoral stays in UK and Spain, in 2011 I joined AZTI as senior researcher. My main research interest is the application of molecular ecology and evolution for developping scientific knowledge and tools for improving the management of the marine environment of its resources.
