I hold a PhD in Computer Science, specialising in the application of Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research methods to design and develop solutions that address real-world challenges. Throughout my career, I have actively contributed to several projects, especially in the fisheries sector and marine environmental sustainability, focusing on the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions that bring positive change to our society and environment.
In my current role, I apply AI and optimization methods as part of AZTI’s Sustainable Fisheries Technologies group, bridging the gap between academic research and industry. My main goal is to translate research findings into AI-driven applications that have a real impact.
