Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology and Master’s degree in Food Safety and Biotechnology (UBU). PhD in Analytical Chemistry (UPV/EHU), where she specialised in the use of chemometrics and non-destructive sensors (with special mention of NIRS sensors) for quality and authenticity control in the food industry. Since she joined AZTI in 2019, her work as a researcher has been focused on the use of non-destructive techniques (special interest in NIR spectroscopy) and the development of chemometric models for monitoring and assuring the integrity of different food products and processes, in order to accelerate the digital transformation towards Industry 4.0.
