(Irun-Spain, 13 December 2021). The first meeting of the Technical Committee responsible for organising the fifth edition of the Cross-border Climate Change and Coastal Congress, bringing together representatives from the public sector, politics, business, technicians, experts from technology and research centres, took place this morning at Ficoba (Irun, Spain).
The main aim of this multidisciplinary debate, which will be held at Ficoba on 16 and 17 November 2022 and which is promoted by this exhibition centre and the AZTI technology centre, is to find out the needs of managers who have to adopt measures to tackle climate change and to see what the scientific and technological community can contribute to solving it. All of this in a context that favours the exchange of experiences, knowledge of good practices, promotes collaboration in the management and maintenance of the coastline through cross-border cooperation, the creation of synergies and new business opportunities as a result of the measures that must be adopted progressively to tackle climate change.
