PhD in Biology. Fish Biology, eel population dynamics, Assessment and Management and Fisheries & Ecosystems. She has been involved in several EU projects dealing with management plans such as CEVIS and COBECOS. Also she has worked with the artisanal fleet and the affection of different sea uses in fishery. She is is the Spanish representative in the ICES Working Group on Eels and has participated int Scientific Review Groups of STECF and CITES.
